PRACTITIONER AND LIGHTWORKER SUPPORT

Those individuals who are called upon to be in service to the overall good of Humankind, and have found a Vocation are cherished and given aid at all times by the Faculty and Membership of Ascension House. We celebrate their commitment to the benefit of their fellow creatures. We have developed and are continually developing programs to ensure the continuance and success of their work.

Our current Programs are:

Spirituality Equals Prosperity 

This Program consists of activities in three areas; Training and Development, Marketing & Branding, and Fellowship & Support.

In the Training & Development area; we first offer an assessment of the Practitioner's current level of expertise. In the case of established Practitioners we invite them to demonstrate their skills as well as review the impressions of their Clients. When working with individuals who seek to become Practitioners, we offer counseling on Training opportunities both here at Ascension House and with other Organizations. We maintain an extensive directory of Trainers and Practitioner Groups/Organizations.

In Marketing & Branding we provide guidance to Practitioners in overcoming the belief that promoting one's work somehow makes it less pure or even somehow less genuine. It does not serve the Good for a Practitioner to have to give up their Vocation because they aren't prepared to share their work with the public. We stress impeccability and ethical practices at all time. This allows the Practitioner to be confident that they are completely in alignment with their values and commitment to their mission. The Branding aspect of this area is a way to create a perception in the minds of both potential Clients of the Practitioner and the Practitioner that they are Visible and Credible in their area of service.

Our Fellowship & Support activities are perhaps the most crucial part of ensuring the success of the Practitioner and continuity in their work.  We are all interconnected on a primal level to each other and the synergistic impact of our combined Work.  Our Fellowship is exactly that.  We care about each other and we care for each other.  Ascension House is based in relationships.  The relationship between us as peers and our individual and group relationship with the Source of All.  In our Fellowship we celebrate each other's work.  We learn about each other's work.  We become recipients of each other's work.  Our Support activities are designed to help our fellows in their connection to not just their work, but their families and communities as well.  We become a resource for each other in very real terms.  This may be as simple as being a “sounding board” when one of us becomes uncertain, to volunteering at an event, to helping a fellow's mother to move.  Our Support activities are a way for us to make our love for each other to be tangible.

Referral Network

None of us can survive, depending upon our Practices to support ourselves and families, if we have no clients.  We are based in the NYC metropolitan area.   Within 20 miles of midtown Manhattan there are over 16 million people.  There are incredible number of people whom we can help and who can become our clients.

Many of us are still in “scarcity” thinking.  We see another Practitioner's sign or advertisement and see competition.  We then connect to the fear mindset and disempower ourselves.  Instead if we see each other's success as being part of our own, we move into abundance thinking and become more abundant.

A Reiki Practitioner may already have clients in common with an E.F.T. Practitioner, a Chiropractor, a Hypnotherapist, a DNA Activator, and a Bach Flower Remedy Practitioner.  None of them are in competition.  Each of them are capable of introducing their clients to each other, thus sharing opportunity.  Our Ascension House Referral Network will provide us all an opportunity to meet each other, learn about each other's practice and become stakeholders in each other's success.

Eastern Healers & Teachers Collective

We began this outreach program in July of 2008.  It is a monthly Meetup Group where we come together to share fellowship, food, and each other's energy.  We currently have participants who are active in; Sound Healing, Vortex Healing, DNA Activation, Clinical Child Psychology, Massage Therapy, Organizational Development, Talismanic Magick, Sacred Sexuality, and Reiki.

Participation is not based upon affiliation with Ascension House.  We seek to interact with the larger NY and East Coast community of Healers and Teachers.  We have plans to continue the Meetups, offer Seminars & Workshops, Group Outings, and Charitable Activities.  Truly we are a virtual “Intentional Community.”
